About The

Motorsport Bookmarks Collection

These pages include links that will hopefully make it easy to find what you're looking for, regardless of whether you're traveling to the motorsport event or watching it from home.

Over the years, I have followed international motorsport while traveling and on TV/PC. In the beginning, it was not as easy to find an itinerary for all events. It was also not that easy to get the stream through the internet as most countries had restrictions on broadcasting within their own country. The solution was to stream or download from various pirate sites. Gradually, it has become possible to buy access to live streams and recordings from the organizers in the various countries, but still there are some international motorsport events that are only broadcast on national TV. The solution then is a VPN that makes you pretend to be in the country where it is sent from.

On some of the pages you will find information about Norwegian motorsport athletes. Born and raised in Norway as I am, I have naturally given some space to athletes I follow in my favorite sports.

Sometimes it can be nice to be able to compare time zones between the country you are in and the country where the motorsport event is held. Therefore, each page contains a table showing the time in most countries where my links lead to (at least countries with the same time zone).

How does a VPN work?

When you browse the web regularly, your device establishes a direct connection to the Service through a browser or other application. That way, the service knows the exact IP address from which your connection originates, which immediately reveals your geographic location. However, VPN allows you to hide this information by connecting your device to the virtual network before connecting to the service. The service will think you are located where the VPN server is, which could be anywhere in the world.
